Oh Christmas Tree!

Getting Ready for Christmas

I have been working very hard to get ready for Christmas. I have the family coming to stay with me (It will be very cozy). Liam has been having fun with the wrapping paper. I won't be able to put out the presents until the night before with a 15 month old running around and a dog.

Disney World

We just got back from a 2 week stay in Florida to visit my parents. We had an awesome time. I miss them so much. We did a lot and had a blast at the Magic Kingdom.

Halloween 2009

We enjoyed Halloween (Even though we did nothing)! I got at least 3 Trick-or-Treaters! I am now stuck with candy that I don't need. Liam was a pirate, I was a cat, Biscuit was the devil,and Will was himself! We carved a pumpkin and both Liam and Will fell asleep by 7:00. Happy Halloween to all!

Liam's First Birthday

Liam's birthday was September 8th but we decided to hold his party on the Saturday before. It was quite an ordeal! I did not want to pay $50 to reserve the park canopy area and took my chances at maybe getting one around 4:00pm. I ended up getting the last covered area. The wind decided to blow 45 mph and I could not use any of the decorations that I bought for his party. We had lots of fun despite the gail force winds. Happy birthday to my big boy!

4th of July Celebration!

We went to see the fireworks display in Henderson. Liam really enjoyed the fireworks and did not get upset at all. We had such a great time with the Turner Family.

Our Trip to Utah

My mother came out to visit from Florida and so we took a weekend trip to Provo, Utah. In Utah we rode the Heber Valley Railroad train and went to dinner at the Mayan Restaurant. We had such a fun time!

Shoes!

Liam got his first pair of really cool shoes today (that actually cost more than $10.00 dollars) They are so adorable! He is keeping these on his feet, and that's why I liked them so much. They also match most of his outfits. How cute!!!

Liam is crawling!

Today was the day that Liam figured out how to crawl. He was ready for awhile, but he finally put everything together and now he is going places! He is also very quick. I am still learning a lot, and I have to learn fast! I can't believe how big he is getting.

Little Music Man

Liam has finally gotten bored with all of his toys. It is becoming more difficult to keep him entertained as he is getting older. So, I brought out the "Big Guns"! Pots and Pans seem to keep him occupied for awhile. So now my home can get pretty loud between the dog and the baby whacking the pots and pans.

Happy Easter

Liam's first Easter was so exciting. He got a Little Tikes panio and some cute presents from very close friends of the family. I hope everyone else had a great Easter!

Liam's First Experience at Walt Disney World

I just got back from a two week vacation in Florida. Liam and I had such a blast! We went to "The Magic Kingdom" and "Epcot". Liam got to ride several rides including Pirates of the Carribbean. It was great to see my family. I miss them so much and wish we lived closer. They really enjoyed seeing Liam and had a great opportunity to bond with him.

My Husband A Sniper?

Okay, so my husband got this sniper suit from one of the guys in our ward (He has an in to get real ghillie suits). He looks like a wookie, but it is so cool. This brings out the little boy in him. I thinks the dog is scared of him, but could also mistake him for a real plant (Watch out!).

Florida Vacation!

We just got back from a great vacation in Florida. We first went on another Disney Cruise which was awesome (except for the cold weather. If you have never taken a cruise before, I would strongly suggest a Disney Cruise because they are fantastic. During the cruise we visited Atlantis the huge resort in Nassau and went to Disney's own island Castaway Cay. Liam had such a fun time and was perfect during the cruise. We also got to spend a day at Gatorland. That was a fun experience! My favorite was the close encounters show where they brought out poisonous snakes(a cottonmouth and rattlesnake) and you were so close to them. My mom almost went out of her mind because the Eastern Diamondback was really ticked off and it was rattling its tail a lot. Overall it was a nice vacation and I was very sad to leave Florida. Now it is back to reality!

Firefighters at the Park!

So, Liam and I went to the park on Wednesday to meet with our ward playgroup. As we were walking around the park, the Las Vegas Fire Department was playing with the hoses on the pumper truck. Liam and I had so much fun watching them shoot water from all the different hoses (the hand-held one and the cannon on top of the truck). One firefighter came over to talk to me. Of course I had to brag about my dad and his 35 years in the Baltimore City Fire Department. I was always proud to be a firefighter's daughter. I had Michelle take a picture of Liam and I standing in front of the fire truck.
